The KX-170B is the long-serving 720-channel comm and 200-channel VOR/LOC nav radio found in Cessna, Piper and Beech singles from the 1970s onward. Simple, repairable and still well supported by avionics shops, it remains the sensible replacement when a matching radio is needed to keep a period panel consistent. Sold as a used unit.
